Gatelock Van locks from the Medium, Large, and Roller Door series can be operated electrically by adding a dedicated kit consisting of a servomechanism and a control unit with Bluetooth or remote control technology.
The electric configuration allows remote control of the devices, making loading and unloading operations easier while also enabling more advanced fleet management.
All locks are always supplied with the Netoma® emergency security lock, patented by Block Shaft® and certified by Istituto Giordano according to the UNI EN 1303 standard.
Gatelock Van operation via RADIO Technology
The GATELOCK VAN lock can be operated mechanically using one of the 3 keys supplied, or electronically by adding a new RADIO CONTROL.
The padlock is opened using one of the two supplied radio remote controls, which helps speed up the loading and unloading of goods; once the selected time for padlock activation has elapsed, the lock will be closed automatically when the doors are closed. In addition, the Radio Control Unit can be connected to any GPS tracking device installed on the vehicle for control from the operations center.

Block Shaft S.r.l. has developed a web-based management platform for commercial vehicle fleets. The platform allows the unlocking of the GATELOCK VAN lock remotely, by means of mobile APP, using the Bluetooth of the cell phone previously enabled and recognized by the lock management unit. In addition to Bluetooth connection, the system can be controlled remotely via web portal, API or by means of a GPS satellite tracking device installed in the vehicle).
USAGE SCENARIOS
The web platform will census fleet vehicles, users (the driver, fleet manager, etc.), locations and trips, being able to change them at any time. In addition, the platform will allow users to set the lock mode (automatic or manual) according to their operational needs.
